Since we've moved I've been looking at the room that is to become our nursery and hating it. It's the same color as every other room in our house, it has no furniture, it has nothing cute, nothing that makes it a nursery (i.e. no crib, no changing table, no seating, etc).
I finally found a painter coming to paint the room so I wouldn't have to do it myself. I'm so excited how the color we chose turned out (Sherwin Williams Lime Granita). I LOVE it. Our changing tables, minus the topper, arrived last Wednesday and it's perfect. Painting done. Check. Changing table/dress, Check. Everything else? Yet to come.
Do y'all find yourselves starting a project and then finding other things you want to do to the space? I've decided that demolition to the closet is in order. Anyone have a sledgehammer I could borrow? Perhaps a really big hammer? I've decided that the closet in the nursery just doesn't work for me (and by me I mean me, not Baby G hehehe). I want to rip out what is in there, which admittedly isn't much and install one of those closet systems that is adjustable. Sort of like this:

I think I can do this myself. I'm pretty sure the hard part is going to be knocking out what is in there currently. Well, that and making sure that the wall mounts are hung straight when I put in the new system! I think I have a trip to Lowe's in my future. I guess I should make a list of tools I'm going to need before I go...
